From field acquisition and spatial calibration to edge detection and localisation.
01
A connected sensing workflow
The engineering spans two connected applications: a desktop acquisition and calibration workspace, and an edge-vision runtime. Camera geometry and scene assets bridge the two, linking field preparation to detection, localisation and result review.
02
Acquisition, firmware and desktop operations
Multi-camera preview and recording, ESP32 device firmware, RTK positioning and LoRa communication are coordinated through a desktop application and processing services. Project management, session records and recovery support an organised acquisition workflow.
03
Spatial modelling and calibration handover
The processing workspace covers camera intrinsics and extrinsics, positioning observations, ground and scene geometry, and quality review. Versioned calibration assets can be transferred to the edge system, where validation and controlled activation protect the current working geometry.
04
Edge vision and operational integration
The Jetson application combines video acquisition, GPU-assisted image processing, neural-network inference and multi-camera spatial localisation. Event records, result delivery, runtime configuration and health reporting connect the processing engine to host software.
